Wet Room

So at the back end of 2023 between myself and the OT along with my wife we decided that on account of her disability (Spinal Cerebellar Ataxia SCA Type 13,) which is a progressive and degenerative condition without a happy ending. There is no cure and only parts of this condition can be helped by the use of some drugs although they do not make it better they help with the day to day live of a Mortor Neuron Diese like this.)so it was decided that rather than our standard bathroom which had a corner bath with an overhead shower, that given that my wife was having difficulties climbing in and out the bath, that a wet room would be the best option, along with a stair lift, front door widening to accept a wheelchair and a cincrete ramp uo to the house. The Council approved the grand in around december and then Northdown sent their tender and the work started in April 2024. We were promised by Alisdair of Northdown Property Services that all this would be completed in a timescale of between 5 and 8 working days. It is now mid july and they are nowhere near completion so we have effectively sacked Northdown and all their sub-contractors. Poor quality shody and overly extended timescale!!!! Be aware of this company Perhaps I should be writing to rogue traders!!!!
