Toilet

So I assume that the contracter was a qualified plumber and capable of installing a simple close couple unit.Once again I was wrong The new toilet was broken (by the contractor) so he left the top off the cistern and told us to reach into the water and flush using the chain that lay in the bottom of the cistern. Sick and tired of this not being fixed I set about making it flush from from the external side of the cister by connecting a bit of string to the chain and then feeding that up through the top of the cistern lid and attaching it to a tennis ball so we could flush without getting our hads wet theis went on for over 2 months!!!!

Oh by the way they left it unscrewed to the floor or the wall!!!! I bought a replacement toilet (an Armitage Shanks Sandringham 21 for £155 from Bathroom & Kitchens) Northdowns contracter had quoted me almost £400 for the same item)
