D.D.A.Compliance
Well I am not really sure where to begin with this one. But lets start with the Ramp. The ramp fails on several things 1: it is not wide enough, 2: the handrail they were going to install was way way too small to be classed a disability friendlu rail 22" is less than HALF of what the DDA 2010 Recommends. There is a dip at the bottom where water collects when it rains (now add in, say a frost and you have a skating rink. The way that they fixed the posts were dangerous. On of the upstands at the side of the ramp (the tallest one at the top of the ramp) has already fallen over.
The Stair Landing, The idea that a wheelchair could be used at the top of a starirway was just plain stupid
To be without proper working toilet for over 3 months is nothing short of a criminal act that even in a prison would not be tolerated yet Northdown Property Services of Peterborough think it is ok to do this to a severely disabled woman.. What do you think being without your toilet for that length of time would be worth in the form of compensation (perhaps the sum that I paid to Northdown for my tiles ????? £980 no way that would be too cheap
We had no washand basin in for almost 2 months
They are not DDA compliant also I dont know how many of the workforce who were at our home over the last four months were even CRB Vetted????? in the hom of a elderly vunerable disabled person
